From remote villages in Eastern Europe and quiet countrysides to communities living along the riversides of Asia, we journey beyond factories and commercial hair markets to find exceptional hair at it's true source: the women who grew it. 

Our story 

For more than 12 years, I have been dedicated to sourcing hair - how it's sourced, how it's treated and what separates the qualities of hair.

But this journey became deeply personal when I experienced hair loss myself. 

Losing my own hair changed the way I understood its emotional significance- the confidence it can restore, the femininity it can awaken and the quiet comfort of feeling like yourself again. 

That experience drew me even deeper into the beautiful and intricate world of hair. I became determined to look beyond what was simply being sold and uncover the truth about where exceptional hair comes from. 

My search led me away from mass produced extensions and into the remarkable world of single donor hair; hair grown by one woman, cut as one complete ponytail and carefully persevered from root to tip.

Every donor carries years of natural growth. It's color, texture, strength, and movement belong to one woman alone. It cannot be manufactured, duplicated or perfectly recreated. 

That's what makes it a work of art. 

Our hair is cut, never collected!

Most commercial hair is collected from multiple sources, mixed together, heavily processed and manufactured to appear uniform. 

Our hair is cut directly from carefully selected donors and sold as one complete cut. 

Nature does not create identical hair, manufacturing does.

From villages, riversides and quiet countrysides, we travel far beyond factories and commercial hair markets to discover exceptional hair at it'a true source - the women who grew it. 

Each donor cut is discovered individually and carefully selected for its health, density, length and natural texture. We consider not only how the hair looks today but how beautifully it can live, move and be worn over time. This processed cannot be rushed. 

We wait longer, we travel further and we examine hair more carefully.

And we reject anything that does not meet our standard. 

Because genuine luxury begins long before the hair reaches you.

No two women grow the same hair, this means that every Nikkita Hair piece is naturally limited and entirely.
